Welcome to BabyBallot. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BabyBallot mobile app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
BabyBallot is a baby-name picking app for personal, non-commercial use. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.
You agree not to misuse the app — for example, by attempting to reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with it, or by using it in any unlawful way or in violation of any applicable regulations.
Names you add and choices you make are stored on your device. You are responsible for the custom names you enter. Because your data is stored locally, you are in control of it; see our Privacy Policy for details.
Voting is unlocked with a monthly pass, sold as a one-time, non-auto-renewing purchase through the Apple App Store: $4.99 for a first month and $2.99 for each additional month. A pass does not renew automatically and there is no subscription to cancel; access simply ends when the month does. A pass may be shared with one co-parent by invite link, which grants that person access for the remainder of the same period at no additional charge. All purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's payment terms; refunds are handled according to Apple's policies.
When a pass expires, previously completed elections remain viewable on your device; starting a new election requires a current pass.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular name or match will be suitable for you. Name choices are for your consideration only.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BabyBallot and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the app.
We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device. We may suspend or discontinue the app, in whole or in part, at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
